Welp, I'd hoped to hit some gravel but our inch of snow has squelched that idea so it's road bikes instead. South Southest winds will make the ride just about perfect. Flats to start, hills later.
Where: Crane Coffee 60th & Center
When: 8am for coffee, roll out at 8:30
What: Road bikes (tires). Bring cash for the Bellevue Tool Bridge
How Hard: Expect an overall average speed of about 16.5mph but once we hit the open road speeds will be around 20mph. This is a face paced group ride. Riders should be able to ride in a paceline as well as an echelon in very close proximity to others.
I think you forgot to mention wheel sucking skill.
ReplyDeleteI think Crane Coffee should be banned from ride start points. Don't make much sense.
ReplyDeleteHow is it different than Jones Bros.?
ReplyDelete2 pretty busy intersections vs 1.5 busy, but slow traffic intersections.

ReplyDeleteIt makes a difference if you drink the coffee, Jones coffee sucks!
ReplyDeleteTrue.
DeleteI would agree Fred but at 8am on a Sunday morning, traffic anywhere in Omaha is hardly an issue. Maybe we should ride over the I-80 bridge
ReplyDeleteI would have said Blue Line Downtown but then we'd all have to get there at 7:30 to make sure we all got our coffee before it was time to roll out
