Sunday Greenstreet Velo Rides

Hey Omaha bikers,

Greenstreet Velo Club (nee: Velo Veloce) is ready to fire up our Sunday morning road rides again, starting Sunday, April 1st. I'm not fooling!

We'll follow the same format as last year. Until the weather moderates a little bit more, we will start the ride at 11 AM from the Blue Line Coffee downtown on 14th Street, near Greenstreet Cycles and TD Ameritrade baseball park.

For those of you coffee addicts, meet early at Blue Line for a pre-ride caffiene fix. The ride course will be determined by wind direction at the discretion of the ride leader. We'll have an A and B group, with a sweeper riding at the tail end with those who want to cruise at a lower pace. We'll pick a half-way spot to reconvene.

Rides will be somewhere between 25 and 40 miles, taking about 2 to 3 hours. If it is raining or snowing, just come on down to Blue Line anyway and we'll surf ebay for cycling goodies and chug coffee.

Only requirements are helmets and a good attitude. The ride is open to everyone! Please come and join in the fun!

Send any questions to pduryea at cox dot net or call Jono at Greenstreet Cycles.
