Jackrabbit Half-a-Hundy, Sunday, March 11

What: 54 mile gravel ride on the 1st and 4th quarters of the Jackrabbit Hundy Race Course
When: Sunday, March 11, 2012, 8am
Where: Pedal from Bennington Lake, parking near Pawnee Road (map)
Pace: 12-15 MPH
Route: Map

I've never ridden this area before, so I'm not totally sure what to expect with conditions, pace, and availability of convenience stores.  Plan to bring all the food and water that you need for the ride, plus supplies to fix a flat.  All are welcome, and there are always opportunities for regrouping, but be sure to know your escape routes and have a backup plan if you decide to pull the plug.

EDIT:  Fred reminds us that the Spring time change is this weekend.  That means that Sunday at 8am will feel like 7am.  "Spring forward!"

  1. Remember - This Sunday ... 7AM is the new 8AM (Daylight Saving time, spring forward, etc.)

  2. Thanks, Fred. That's easy enough to forget, and a reminder is always appropriate.

  3. Sorry folks, but I'm going to have to back out. Given the chance for rain and the needs to handle some other weekend obligations, I can't make it. Feel free to ride on your own. I definitely plan to try this Jackrabbit Half-a-Hundy course again soon.
